The afternoon was full of fun, food and families enjoying the famous Palo de Mayo dance, a Caribbean custom enjoyed by the Young, the Old and the Restless. Famous Legends of Nicaragua like Sonora Dinamita, y Dimension Costeña the pearls of the Nicaraguan Atlantic Coast rocked the park, everyone participated on the dance floor. Meanwhile vendors were preparing delicious authentic foods, Like Nacatamales, Vigoron con Cerdo y achiote, Queso frito, Quesillos de Nagarote y La Paz Centro, rosquillas, refrescos de chia, tamarindo, chicha, fresco de cacao, frescos de linaza, incredible It was amazing!!!!! very authentic and made there fresh, the only complaint some were made on teflon and aluminum but mostly Barbecued meats, pollo asado, carne asada, cerdo asado, fried green plantains called tajadas, and platano maduro, (fried ripe plantain) greeeeeeeeeease but delicious:-) and off course lots of Toñas and Flor de Caña.
