Asian Americans, you need to read up on the history of exclusion and racism. Its as simple as the fact that all of us put together are only 4.8% of the US population...the racist immigration laws up until 1965 did not want Asians here. Especially those of us, like Southeast Asian refugees, who arrived AFTER the Civil Rights movement, whove benefited from the struggles of those who fought and died to make possible what you enjoy. The fallacy is to think we are somehow a model minority, because we are the good obedient race. If you want to see progress and uplift for Asian communities, it must be done in solidarity with Black communities and not at the expense of our brothers and sisters in the struggle. #APIsforBlackLives #Solidarity #Intersectionality #UnitedNotDivided
