Aside from designing, here is another Paper Scribble Pop passion - bringing old wares back to life. The long weekend was a perfect opportunity to restore this tired old dressing table with a new lease of french-provincial-inspired life. The piece originally belonged to my mum when she was young and has been stored away, unused in my beloved Nans back bedroom for years. When I was a little girl I used to love my mums old dressing table and when I bought my own home, my Nan passed on the sentimental dresser to me as a gift. Now, with a fresh coat of paint and slight remodelling to suit my decor, it can live on proudly for another generation....and needless to say, it even got Nans tick of approval too!
