Aside to jumping spiders which are like little smart tigers that pounce on prey, orb weavers are also one of my favorite. look at this awesome scene of this female orb weaver wrap up a wasp like in the 2nd Hobbit Movie xD orb weavers grow super big, i remember the first time I saw a pregnant female orb weaver, thought it was a giant marble and then it moved and it scared me xD Back in my entomology studies i got to really get a close look at this amazing spider, relative to the river spider, or as others call it, the banana spider, which has one of the strongest spider webs in the world and has survived since the dinosaur era, the jurassic era. very similar to the river spider with same fighting style but not as big as a river spider. ive seen this amazing orb weaver lay eggs and got to see the eggs hatch. i even saw the mating process when i studied entomology. but the most remarkable thing is spending the entire night watching the orb weaver take away all the bad web and rebuild its home each night, if you havent spent a few hours seeing this, you cant appreciate the art of the orb weaving spider, and although most of you see the webs in halloween, you dont even know what spider makes that web. well if you ever wondered what spider makes the orb web used in halloween, here it is. this spider does it! #nerd #entomology #arachnids #orbweaver #orbweb #spidervswasp and remember, thank the spiders for controlling the bug population from becoming an infestation xD and if you are having spider problems, i feel bad for you son, i will relocate the spider for you, but ur too busy running away lol...
