Asides of being a part to celebrate the 29th World Habitat Day, theme Voices from Urban Poor on October 6, 2014, The NGO Forum on Cambodia together with a group of National Advocacy Conference (NAC) organizing committees consisted of NGO Forum, DPA, CHRAC, ICSO and CVS for a meeting with the “3rd Committee of planning, investment, agriculture, and rural development, environment and water resources”, led by H.E. Pol Hom seeking for a cooperation to organize the 8th NAC. The meeting was formed to discuss on vital topics including 1) to brief about the objectives and programs of NAC, 2) to hear a mandate of 3rd committee and 3) to explore opportunities for further cooperation regarding investment and other related issues. Key results after the meeting are 1) The committee agreed to the proposed cooperation on 8th NAC 2) The committee is willing to share the roles pf its committee to the team and 3) the committee agreed to provide space for NGOs to discuss and work together toward arising issues.
