Asked by a Malacia Mom- My 1 yr old has mild LM. He has had a couple colds already this season... They do seem to last much longer than they should. Ive read other posts regarding LM babies getting sick easier and needing to avoid play groups or day care. Is it because their immune systems are compromised due to LM? Or just that simple colds become more complicated with LM babies? He currently is sick with some sort of a chest cold and is coughing up so much mucus that he is gagging on it and throwing it up... Anyone else have this happen to their LM baby? The doctor didnt seem too concerned but Im concerned... I was literally pulling out 8 inch long thick pieces of mucus from his mouth with my hands... Normal?? Or not normal??
