Asking $2,000 and willing to negotiate reasonably. We are motivated to sell! We can discuss lessons if needed, also! See description below: Piano Hello, I have an Everett upright piano in truly pristine condition. It is an EV121 which weve been told by Richmond Piano is the finest and most valuable version of the Everett upright lines. The back story on this instrument is that it was purchased brand new for a Presbyterian church where it has since lived its entire life. It was played maybe 5 times a year as the church had an organ as their primary music, and the piano was tuned at the same time of year, every year, like clockwork. That is why this piano is truly like new. Over time, the church congregation aged and waned, and this summer it closed its doors for the final time. We had the piano tuned and moved by a professional piano moving company here to our home. The only and singular reason we are not keeping this outstanding instrument is that my husband, a professional pianist, currently owns an antique that he is quite attached to. The piano movers wrapped it in a protective wrap for moving, which we have only just removed today to take pictures for the sale. It is currently stored away from all doors in an insulated, climate controlled garage. Ive heard its lovely music played in the church, but having unwrapped it today in our garage, my husband played a bit, and even with the poor and questionable acoustics of a garage and with the door hanging open, the tone and sound of this instrument was lovely and rich. It comes with its own original padded leather stool, the leather having not the first snag or dimple, and the padding having not the first slouch or sag. Though this was not an official appraisal, the tuner had been in the business for most of his life and estimated its worth being between $3-4k considering it being both an EV121 and it being in pristine condition with the strings and hammers showing not the first sign of wear. He remarked its condition would push it to the higher end of that value range. Again, the pictures taken with a cell phone, in a garage on a dreary day disappoint me and do not accurately convey the beauty of the wood. We have discussed it at length and are open to price negotiations, and we will leave it open to the best offer. We also will allow any serious inquiries to visit our home to see it. This is a beautiful, exceptional instrument.
