Asking for prayer for our sweet Phinehas. Tomorrow morning he will have a sedated ABR to determine the degree of hearing loss and if he needs hearing aids. The ENT will decide in the OR if his tubes need to replaced, we are hoping that is not the case. He will also have a scope done to follow up on a previous diagnoses of laryngomalacia/tracheomalacia. It is clear to us after further swallow studies that Phinehas feeding issues are not caused by a suck/breathe/swallow coordination issue, but are caused by a possible anatomy defect or underdevelopment of cartiledge. This will be the first of several scopes in the coming weeks and months. Thankfully he can be awake for the other ones. :) He will be under anesthesia for a little over 2 hours and will be spending the night in the hospital. We will arrive at Egleston at 6:00 am and his surgery should start around 7:30. Thank you for praying however the Spirit leads you!
