Asking for prayers for Mary Bogar, Now that Katie is back from Valleys Basketball tournaments. ( Didnt want her to find out via facebook). Wednesday, Mary called me at work to tell me her blood pressure was 139/107 with a heart rate of 179. On my way home, her momma called the ambulance. When I arrive, Mary was pale and sweating and said it felt like her heart was beating outta her chest. Her heart rate reached 193. When we got to ER at PMC. they hooked her to the crash cart and told her they would have to stop and restart her heart via IV. It basically restarted her heart to get her heart rate normal. They told her if she had not come in it would have stopped. I have to say Dr. Pope and the ER staff were excellent and very reassuring through out this very scary ordeal. It was scary seeing the one you love have her heart stopped and not knowing what was to come. This happened to her father around the same age, and her mother takes meds to prevent it from happening. So if you can throw in an extra prayer for her, we would appreciate it. She is doing fine now, but it is scary not knowing if it will happen again. I pretty much have the blood pressure machine glued to her now...Thank you for your prayers! Never wanna experience that again!
