Asking for prayers for The Lumpee family...I received a phone call just a bit ago Ms wanda will be receiving her angel wings before too much longer...She was the very first friend I made when I moved to pueblo west Colorado and over the years I have grown to love her dearly, she lived right across the street from me.we spent countless days and hours talking..laughing sharing about our lives to one another sharing secrets that was only between us..she was a great girlfriend to have.I bought all her recipe books and a few precious items when she moved into assisted living home....she baked me the most amazing chocolate cake even though she shared the recipe with me I could never make it as tasty as she did...she also made friends with my husband Jeff a few days after he bought the house we called home him for 10yrs me for 8...she asked if there was anything she could do for him...and he said yes..he had just gotten the chicken pox and needed some medicine he didnt want to go out and spread the germs, from that day forward they was very close friends and when she first seen me move in she was hoping I was good enough for jeff LOL she was precious and one of the best friends I have ever had...our families grew very close her son and daughter in law..her grandkids and great grandkids....my mother in law and her would spend time with one another and walk whenever she would come visit us...I am smiling and will have happy memories for always she has lived well into her 90s and been a blessing to all she met....she has suffered the past few months and not very independant t which she had told us many times she didnt want to live in a healthy body but her mind and memory gone like her mother did for many years, she was afraid of being a burden to anyone...My heart is hurting and will for sometime..but I am proud is God is not going to allow her to suffer much longer and the family...May you rest in peace Ms Wanda you sure have earned and deserved it...I love you and will see you again one day
