Asking for specific prayer tonight..please do not be afraid because I am not. I am asking that all of my friends and loved ones pray that my pump flips back into the up-right position at least long enough to be filled with chemo on my birthday this Thursday. Two weeks ago we found out that very little chemo made it through the tubing which means that the pump has been dancing around and flipping and has kinked my tubing leading to my liver. Two of the chemo infusions have pumped less than half of the needed dosage. Dr. Bloomston will be reattaching my pump and untangling the tubing on the 11 th of February when he does the take down of the iliostomy. Today at church Darcie helped me push my pump flat again and we noticed today that it was smooth which means that it is indeed upside down and facing my back. She even joked mommy just do a cartwheel or a round off and it will flip back my response no Darcie, then it will end up in my throat and I will just spit out my pump Darcie then gave me the one eyebrow up and says really?....... All I could do was laugh! God thank you for a fun filled day and if its not too much to ask can we flip the pump back before Thursday I promise not to wig out and trust that youve go this one!
