Asking prayers for my son Josh. Hes employed by a moving company, and he and another guy moved a Grand Piano, using straps that they harness themselves in. He took an injury that I think is sciatica, mainly because he had to raise up out of a squat position to lift the piano - his one leg had previously been injured with a break so bad that he almost died from the infection that set in when he was hospitalized from it. He has a permanent loss of feeling in it, so his raise out of the squat was most likely not very balanced, which many times will result in sciatic pain. Oh, and he also broke a toe that day too. He was scheduled off work Wednesday, but will return to work Thursday. Prayers that his pain decreases, that hes able to create a balance of movement to minimize further aggravation to his sciatic area, and that his broken toe doesnt lend to further issues. Hes a trooper though. For him, its just another day, and Im ok with that attitude, cuz he got it from me. Hes still my son though, so I want him to be pain-free with ease of movement...thanks PWs!
