Aspects of this song always cause me to laugh. One of the aspects are that when I am with my granddaughters I am often spoken too, by others, believing I am their father. Another is that my oldest granddaughter found this song and put it on my cell phone and said listen to this. It takes me 11 minutes to transfer a song, not purchased via iTunes or pandora, from my computer to my phone. She did it within a minute. Another reason is that they get together like a pack of grand babies and circle me taunting me to do the Grandpa dance when they hit the play button on my iPhone. They are so smart I know one of these days she will use a cell to record me dancing to this song and post it online so, like a visit to a government agency, I have them stand in line and remove whats in their pockets and let me store their computer tablets. After they pass inspection they run to hit play and then it is...on. My dance, to this song, takes parts of great dancers such as; Fred Astaire, gene Kelly, Elvis, etc. and do the complete opposite making a combination of Barney Fife + Jonathan Winters + Gerald Ford + spastic man. The grandkids roll on the floor laughing. Little do they know grandpas fine tuned dance moves in all types of dance except...this grandpa dance.
