Aspirant challenges Buhari, Atiku to debate A presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, has challenged the other presidential aspirants of the party to a debate to test if they actually possess the much needed ideas to wrestle power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and develop Nigeria as a formidable nation. In a statement signed by his Director of Publicity, Mr. Igboeli Arinze, Mr. Sam Nda Isaiah threw the challenge to Gen. Muhammed Buhari, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Rabiu Kwakwanso of Kano State. The statement which described Sam Nda Isaiah as an aspirant who possessed intimidating credentials, also challenged other aspirants to make their manifestoes known to members of the APC and Nigerians. “While Nigerians are living with the frustration of a failed state courtesy of the PDP’s 15 years in power. I am shocked that all my fellow aspirants have to offer were abuses, and other inanities that will offer Nigerians little or no choice when it comes to electing a president that will salvage the country and move her to the path of true greatness. “I am the candidate with the big ideas, the candidate with the best form of appeal to the Nigerian voters, the candidate who will leverage on Nigeria’s resources and provide for the ordinary people the basics of life, food, shelter, education and security” said Nda Isaiah. He added: “Therefore, I am challenging my other brothers in the race for the APC ticket to a debate, let them come and tell Nigerians what they have in stock for them if they are not scared. I am sure that if they accept this invitation, they will be routed. I call on the national leadership of the APC to organise debates as they will help the delegates elect a candidate not on past glories or on the amount of Naira they can give to these delegates, but on what they largely have to offer Nigerians.” The presidential aspirant promised to tackle the health challenges in the country by paying attention to the welfare of healthcare workers, promising that when he is elected, he will look into the problem of healthcare and fashion policies that will arrest the problems.
