Assalaamu alaikum MJFCians The match against Team Elite ended in a draw...the first goal was scored by Team Elite which was balanced off by an amazing left foot finish by comeback hero Mohammed Aslam Hyder Quraishi,the assist was provided by in form Mahmood Hussain...Team Elite came back pretty soon with an excellent goal by Abdullah Syed...the match took a wild turn of events when MJFC were denied a penalty kick after goalkeeper Syed Mujahid fouled MJFC midfielder Mudassir Ahmed...the penalty was also crucial as MJFC were a goal down so the game started to get ugly and eventually justice was served when Mudassir Ahmed after being fouled by Adeeb chose to take a free kick instead of an advantage and the ball ended in the top left corner through the minimum space provided by the defence and keeper of Team Elite at right top corner...a crucial diagonal free kick...Well,denied of one set piece MJFC scored of another... FT MJFC 2-2 Team Elite Moral of the story: Our attempts cannot change the fate of a match...we should give more importance to mutual respect and the spirit of the game instead of the result of one friendly match...the same goes for any situation in life...Alhamdulillahi kaseeran kaseera
