Assalaamu alaykum warahmatullah, Discover Islam Week is almost here! In order to make bare hype, we have started a campaign called #SpeakIslam. In order to take part, you record yourself speaking to your non muslim friend about Islam, and nominate others to do so as well. Once you are nominated, you have no choice but to do the same! The aim is to get everyone on campus talking about Islam and making everyone aware of Discover Islam Week. https://youtube/watch?v=G71L2zwgU1c&feature=youtu.be In order to get things going, I have nominated Mohammad Farwana Yaseen Mukadam Mohamed Elbuzidi Zohaib Siddiqui Enam Ahmod and Issa Ruhani. You have 24hrs to make your own videos and make some hype! #SpeakIslam #KCLISOC #DiscoverIslamWeek However, well and truly, if you really wanted to speak about Islam, you wouldnt wait for somebody to nominate you. Our love for Allah, His religion, the example He sent down to us (RasoolAllah s.a.w.) and our love for the teachings He has prescribed for us should be enough to motivate us to speak to others about the religion! The dates for DIW are as follows: 2nd-6th Feb at Guys Campus 9th-13th Feb at Waterloo and Strand We have an amazing line up of talks (soon to be announced), dawah stalls with lots of material, free dinner and tasty ice cream, so do get involved!
