Assalam Alikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatouh I noticed many - TopicsExpress

Assalam Alikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatouh I noticed many sisters are asking about ruqiya and how it’s done and who should do it. Here is a complete guide from the sunnah to what is ruqiya, when to do it, and how to do it and who should do it. Let’s start by talking about Al Ain, Hassad and Sihr ….their meaning and how to protect yourself, your children and your wealth. Firstly: we all know that the “evil eye” is real, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the divine decree (al-qadar) it would be the evil eye.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2188, from the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas). Al-Bukhaari (5048) and Muslim (2187) narrated the first part of this hadeeth from Abu Hurayrah. Secondly: The evil eye usually comes from people who are jealous or envious (hassad). Ibn al-Qayyim said: Everyone who inflicts the evil eye is jealous, but not everyone who is jealous gives the evil eye… then he said: It begins when the person likes something, then his evil soul dwells on the matter, and by continually looking at the person who has the thing of which he feels jealous, he directs his venom towards him. A person may put the evil eye on himself, or he may put the evil eye on someone else without intending to, because it is part of his nature. This is the worst type of human being. Our companions and other fuqahaa’ said: if someone is known for this, he should be detained by the imaam (leader), who should spend on him and provide for him until he dies. This idea is absolutely correct… (Zaad al-Ma’aad, 4/167). Thirdly: Although it is correct that the evil eye comes from people who feel jealous (hasad), it may also come from a person who is not jealous but merely likes something, because of the hadeeth: “Whoever among you sees something in himself or in his possessions or in his brother that he likes, let him pray for blessing for it, because the evil eye is real.” Narrated by Ibn al-Sunni in ‘Aml al-Yawm wa’l-Laylah, p. 168; and by al-Haakim, 4/216. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Kalim al-Tayyib, 243. When they like something, some people say “Ma sha’ Allaah laa quwwata illa Billaah (That which Allaah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allaah)”. They take as evidence for this an aayah in Soorat al-Kahf . The aayah in question is (interpretation of the meaning): “It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: ‘That which Allaah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allaah!’” [al-Kahf 18:39]. But this is not evidence (daleel), because the subject of the aayah has nothing to do with hasad (envy); in fact, Allaah destroyed his garden because of his kufr and transgression. So the right thing to say when you see something you like is: Baraka Allah laky or Laka or Lakoum. I know many people are used to saying Masha Allah…..but if you have to say Masha Allah then follow it with Baraka Allah lak or feek The above hadeeth explains that a person may harm himself or his wealth – and no one feels jealous of himself – but he may harm himself with the evil eye by admiring himself, so it is even more possible that he may harm his wife or children in the same way. Fourthly: A man may harm his wife with the evil eye by looking at her and noticing her beauty and admiring her, even if he does not actually say to her “You are beautiful.” It is mustahabb for him to say, “Allaahumma baarik fihaa (O Allaah, bless her).” What are the signs of Ain or hassad? If the person is not physically ill, here are some of the symptoms they might be experiencing: • A moving headache • The color of the face is yellowish • Sweating a lot or peeing a lot • Loss of appetite. • Feeling heat or cold in the feet and hands • Heart Palpitations. • Moving back pain and pain in the shoulders • Feeling sad and heavy in the chest • Having hard time to sleep at night. • Getting too angry or too scared in a very unnatural way. • Burping a lot • Sighing alot • Wanting to be isolated • Laziness and fatigue • Wanting to sleep all the time • And other health problems which has no explanation in Medicine. The person might experience these sings or some of them depending on the strength of the illness. It is important for the Muslim to strengthen their Iman (Faith) and not end up in a wisswass status; they shouldn’t imagine they are ill with Ain or Hassad just because they have some of these signs as imagining the illness is worse to cure. These signs might be there and they could be because of a physical illness or a weak of Iman especially the feeling of sadness and heavy chest, so before anything this person must review their relation with Allah first. How can you get cure from Ain, hassad or Sihr? If the illness is from Ain or Hassad: Cure in shaa Allah will be by one of two ways: 1. If you know the person: You ask them to take a bath and you take the water and wash your body with it and drink some with neyyah for shifaa. 2. If you don’t know the person: You should seek shifa from Allah by doing Ruqya, dua’a and Hijamah It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded me, or he commanded (the people) to use ruqyah to deal with the evil eye.” If the illness is from Sihr: Then cure in shaa Allah will be by doing one of the following: 1. If you know the place of the Sihr: and found it, you open it while you are reading Al Mu3awithatain then burn it. 2. Read Al Ruqyia Al Shareiah: with the ayat of the Quran, especially Al Mu3awithatain and Al Baqarah and dua. 3. Take 7 leaves of Sidr and grind them, then read three time surat Al Kafiroun, Al Ikhlas, Al Falaq, Al Naas and mix it with water and drink from it and wash your entire body. You should repeat this until shifaa in shaa Allah. (Don’t do this in the toilet because if you read Quran on the sidr it is not right to pour it in the toilet, pour the water somewhere that is Tahir like outside on the plants or sand) 4. Removing the Sihr by: Taking laxative if the sihr is in the stomach or by Hijamah if it’s somewhere else in the body. Important Note: It is Haram and prohibited to cure the sihr with sihr, example: going to someone who does sihr for them to find what was done to you and open it. The conditions of Al Ruqya Al Shareiah: 1. It must be done by the ayat of the Quran and dua of the sunnah. 2. It must be in Arabic and it is also allowed to make dua using another language. 3. The sick person must believe that the Ruqya itself will not affect them and that Allah SWT is the one who grants the cure. 4. The sick person must not believe that the raqi (or the one reading the ruqiya) is the one who will cause shifa because that would be shirk. Shifa is only from Allah not from a certain person no matter how religious they are. You must believe this. So those who keep moving from one raqi to the other thinking this person is better and that person will help cure me is completely wrong and may end you up in a miserable situation and shirk waleyathu biLLAH. 5. To continue with the ruqiya even if takes months and not give up if the cure was delayed, remember that Al Shafi is Allah and instead use your ibtila’a by expecting ajr and maghfirah from Allah while you read ruqyia seeking shifa. 6. To make the Ruqya stronger, you should always read the Quran with the neyya of shifa and hedaya. 7. If you can read on yourself it is always better than asking someone to read for you. You know your need better than anyone and you are the desperate so your dua will be from your heart with concentration. Remember what Allah promised in the Quran when he said: (Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil..) Al Naml 62 With regard to dealing with the evil eye and hasad (destructive envy), there is no doubt that when a person is close to Allaah, always remembering Him (dhikr) and reading Qur’aan, he is less likely to be affected by the evil eye and other kinds of harm from the devils of mankind and the jinn. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to seek refuge with Allaah for himself, and the greatest means of seeking refuge that is available to the Muslim is reading the Book of Allaah, above all the Mi’wadhatayn (the last two Soorahs of the Qur’aan, al-Falaq and al-Naas), Soorat al-Faatihah and Aayat al-Kursiy [al-Baqarah 2:255]. Among the saheeh du’aa’s for refuge that have been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are: “A’oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammaati min sharri maa khalaq (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created).” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Dhikr wa’l-Du’aa, 4881) It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with them both) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to seek refuge with Allaah for al-Hasan and al-Husayn. He said: ‘Your father [i.e., Ibraaheem] used to seek refuge with Allaah for Ismaa’eel and Ishaaq with these words: A’oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every bad eye).’”(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Ahaadeeth al-Anbiyaa’, 3120). How to protect yourself from Ain, hassad or Sihr? Undoubtedly, when a person persists in reciting the adhkaar (dhikr) for morning and evening, and the adhkaar for going to sleep, and others, this will have a great effect in protecting him from the evil eye, because it will be like a stronghold for him, by Allaah’s Leave. So everyone should strive to recite these adhkaar. You can get these athkaar from Hisn Al Muslim book and if you want me to write them down for you let me know. One last thing before we get to the Ruqiya itself. You should always read the ruqiya on yourself and not go to anyone unless you can’t. If you are a woman you should never go to a non mahrim male raqi, you either go to a woman or if it’s a male he must be a mahrim. In case you could not find any female or marhim male (which is rarely the case because many people within our families can read the Quran so they can read ruqiya on you), if you had to go to a none mahrim raqi , you must go with a mahrim and not alone. Going alone is against the shariah and don’t expect to go seeking shifa from Allah while you disobey his shariah. One very important point you need to know, never ever let a male none mahrim raqi touch you while they are reading on you, it is against the sunnah and they do not need to touch you. The ayat they are reading are important to be read on you and not their hand (Its common sense, the ayat will not travel from their hand to you!!). He can blow on water and you can drink but never touch you. If he is an authentic raqi who follows the Quran and sunnah, he will never ask to touch you. Also if the person is asking you for your mother’s name or father’s name and questions like that, then be sure this person is using jinn and he is not a raqi but a magician pretending to be a raqi. A Raqi does not need to know any of your personal details. If you know that the person is a magician and you still go to them then you need to know that you have committed shirk and remember that Allah forgives all sins except Shirk. Allah Ta’alah says what can be translated as: (Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. 4:48) This is a simple authentic Ruqya which you can read on yourself or your loved ones. Al Ruqya Al Shareia Surat Al Fatiha Surat Al Ikhlas Surat Al Falaq Surat Al Naas Surat Al Kafiroun Ayat Al Kursi Read these ayaat From the Sunnah you read: أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيني 7 Asa’alu Allah Al Atheem Rabba Al Arsh Al Atheem ann yashfeeini (7 times) أعوذ بكلمات الله التامة من كل شيطان وهامة ومن كل عين لامة 3 Aa outhu bikalimaat Allah Al Tammah min Kulli shaytan wa ham’ma wa min kulli Aynin Lam’ma (3 times) الهم رب الناس أذهب البأس اشفي انت الشافي لا شفاء الا شفأوك شفاءاً لا يغادر سقما 3 Allahuma Rabbal Nass Athheb Al Ba’as , Eshfi Anta Al Shafi , La Shifa’a Ella shifa’ouk, shifa’an la youghadiru Saqama (3 time) اللهم أذهب عني حرّها وبردها ووصبها Allahuma Ath-heb Anni Harraha wa bardaha wa wasabaha (one time) حسبي الله الذي لاله الا هو عليه توكلت وهو رب العرش العظيم Hasbi Allah Al’lathi la Elaha Ella Huwa Alihey tawakaltu wa huwa Rabbul Arshil Atheem (7 times) بسم الله أرقي نفسي من كل داء يؤذيني ومن شركل نفس أو عين حاسد الله يشفيني بسم الله أرقي نفسي BismiLLah Arqi nafsi min Kul’li Da’ain youa’thini wa min sharri kulli nafsin Aw Aini Hassid Allah Yashfini BismiLLah Arqi Nafsi.
