Regards, Team JobOpportunities.pk Position Title: Assistant Operation Manager (Fashion Apparel) Job location: Kuwait Nationality: Indian (must be based in GCC i.e UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudia, etc) Experience: 6 years at least in retail / operation Compensation: Open Role: Achieves brand’s yearly Business Plan for all stores, as a minimum, through development of the operational delivery of the brand offer in all, gathering marketing intelligence to position operations competitively. Maximizes sales in all stores through coaching and performance management of Store Managers in the areas of scheduling, availability, layouts, promotions and customer service. Key Performance Areas to include but not limited to: - Constantly reviews sales improvement practice, plans and initiatives. Gathers marketplace feedback and on the ground competitor intelligence for product, price, location, offer, activity and promotions. Feeds back to office team to assist in improving the brand offer. - Decides store visit cycle, time spent in each sales area with store management. Advises operational best practice, recommending improvements through store visit reports. - Decides/advises how to survey / obtain feedback from market / store staff and customers, and how to keep abreast of competitors. Identifies / suggests problems in relation to the brand offer. - Minimizes costs in all stores through coaching and performance management of store management in control of salary, shrinkage and all other controllable costs. - Coordinates complete store opening processes with the parent brand and successful completion of the critical path of timely store openings. - Controls store administration through coaching and performance management of store management in company cash and stock reconciliation and personnel procedures. - Controls maintenance and health and safety in all stores through coaching and performance management of store management in best practice and company procedures for maintenance and health and safety. - Maximizes the potential of store management and staff through coaching and performance management. Ensures all vacancies are filled with appropriately qualified individuals. - Achieves yearly Business Plan for all stores, as a minimum, through development of the operational plan in relevant markets, gathering marketing intelligence to position operations competitively.
