Assalamualaikum Wbth , Alhamdulillah everything is fine. Bukhara - TopicsExpress

Assalamualaikum Wbth , Alhamdulillah everything is fine. Bukhara is so much better than the 1st time i came. More small boutique hotels are being built, more coffee outlets to cater for the needs of the tourists i suppose though not affecting the Chai khorna ( tea houses) of the uzbeks Bukhara still maintain the old charm being one of the oldest city in the world.Lots of changes & developments but i have yet to see a building that is painted other the natural color stone . I love it that way. I think the Bukharans will go blind if they see colorful buildings in this ancient city. I failed to meet my friends in the bazaar yesterday but i was lucky the second time around. As we are leaving for Samarqand tomorrow most wanted to pack some fruits to eat on the bas ( macam tak cukup2 makan bush) . I ate to much melons & grapes and i have started to wheeze. I better stop or control otherwise the group will chase me off the bus if they have a sick tour leader, Weather is just so beautiful. Sunny but windy & breezy since morning. I can imagine the breeze in Khokand now in Ferghana Valley as it is known to be the most windy city in Uzbekistan. Autumn leaves have started to appear here and there and off course you can see from some of my photos. We finished all the important sites in Bukhara and tonight will have dinner with a Plov making demonstration. I have so many things to share but the internet is so slow and it happens all the time when i have all the time to write. So sad Will look forward to the drive on the original Silk Road tomorrow with a stop over in Gijdhuvan and the highlight will be a visit to the Mausoleum of Imam Al Bukhari I have to go and will not let the group wait though i am in the mood to write. Have a great weekend everyone ! Wassallam ASk-Pipah-Go-Mana-Mana!
