Assalamualaikum and Good Evening. Last Saturday (27th December), in support of the tragedy that affected Pantai Timur (Kelantan and Terengganu) #bnmsocials has setup an impromptu platform for donors to give out donations in a form of monetary. We are pleased to inform that we have managed to collect a total of RM2995.00 by Sunday (28th December) exactly at 1 pm when all donations head for a final count. Later that night, as promised, some of the volunteers went to Giant, Kota Damansara to buy necessities such as baby clothes, baby diapers, baby nappies, baby milk powder, torchlights, soaps, toothbrushes, toothpastes, maggi me, biscuits, sardines, mineral water, rice and etc. Receipts for the items bought can be seen in one of our visuals posted for this particular social program. These items were then sent to Masjid Al-Ghufran in TTDI that same night under Carefugees, MASSA and Masjid Al-Ghufran donation program. MASSA is currently working with Neptune Air cargo to help fly the items to Kota Bharu (KB) before distributing the items to hard hit areas including Kuala Krai. We were being informed by Carefugees that the next flight out will be this Wednesday (31st December) and that they (Carefugees) have worked with MASSA previously in providing food support to refugees during last Ramadhan. We would like to thank our generous donors for their kind donations. You have shown nothing but love and mercy to all the victims and may God bless you tenfolds for your generosity. As quoted by BBC News Malaysians are a generous lot, never short of donations. Whatever you give will be returned to you in manifold increase.
