Assembly results will surprise many in J&K: BJP Srinagar: Claiming that people of Kashmir have started showing interest in Bhartiya Janata party (BJP), cop turned politician in BJP leader Farooq Ahmed Khan Thursday said that the National Conference and Congress party will taste a crushing defeat in the coming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a news conference in Srinagar, BJP leader said that the results for upcoming assembly elections will surprise many as BJP will emerge as winner. “The dream of our mission 44+ will certainly get realized. We feel that people of Jammu and Kashmir have lost interest in National Conference and Congress party as these two parties exploited the common people for their petty gains. “The present government has given benefit to some of the particular families while common people were left at the mercy of God,” Khan said adding that BJP is making it sure that the party forms next government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own. Khan said that employment and well being of Kashmiri youth is the top most priority of Narendra Modi government. (CNS)
