Reporting to the Commercial Manager of Sheet Metal Supplies (SMS) the selected candidate will assist with the management of month end while providing day to day accounting functions including margin and production job costing reviews, business queries, vendor and rebate management. Additionally, you will ensure accounting and administrative consistency, assist in monitoring and improving the SMS business practices and controls through analysis, forecasting and continuous improvement, while meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements. A previous commercial background is essential, along with a sound knowledge of business processes. Displaying a high level of computer literacy (SAP) you will also be accomplished in analysing processes and implementing improvements. Your commercial acumen and ability to develop strong customer (internal and external) relationships across both technical and business areas will be further supplemented with your excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and team spirit. You will be a dedicated team player, results driven, with an ability to motivate people through collaborative skills, ensuring leading practice and fostering commitment. CPA/ACA or equivalent (or willingness to undertake) is preferred together with formal accounting qualifications.
