Contact the office on 02083666420 GDHIF (DECC) Today at 5:24 AM To Dear Householder, I am delighted to let you know that the second release of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund will open to applications on Wednesday 10 December 2014. More details are included further in this email. Since its launch in June 2014, the scheme has proved incredibly popular, providing vouchers to over 20,000 households and enabling people to make vital energy saving improvements to their home. We know the best way for households to cut their bills is to use less energy – and improving the energy efficiency of their homes is a vital step. The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund makes this possible - providing families in England and Wales with money back for improvements so they can experience the benefits of a warmer home and lower energy bills. As a Government, we’ve already taken £50 off energy bills this year and ensured energy companies make things simpler and easier for bill payers. To build on this good work, and with the consumer always at the forefront of my mind, I expect that the next release of funds for the Green Deal Home Improvement will open to applications in February, 2015. I am confident this will help even more people enjoy lower bills and a warmer home for years to come. Best wishes, cid:[email protected] Amber Rudd MP Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Household Energy Efficiency GREEN DEAL HOME IMPROVEMENT FUND CHANGES ALREADY ANNOUNCED As you know from our recent letter, there are some changes you will need to be aware of for the second release of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund. You will need a separate email address for each application you make, or a separate email if you have applied in the past and are intending to apply again. Remember, people applying for the scheme must be the owner or occupier of the property they are improving. Managing agents will not be eligible to apply under the scheme. DECC may vary the terms of the scheme (including the incentive rates) or suspend or close the scheme, with immediate effect, without notice and at any time.
