Asssalaam o Alaikum :) How are you all? Im sharing a wall post, in the hope that youll all give your opinions too. As far as my knowledge is, there is no haram in sending your child to a coeducation school. And by the Mercy of Allah, inshaAllah you will also not go to hell for it. Yes co-ed does affect a childs personality. But who said the affect has to be negative? It largely depends on your upbringing. My girls both went to co-ed, and I can happily say that they are pious, and decent girls. Generally I have seen that boys who sit with girls in the same class, are not as rough or crude as the others. But yes it might be a wise move to separate them as they enter puberty, since it is always better to avoid that which could cause problems. Having said that, I am wary of people who label anything and everything haram without proper knowledge or evidence. May Allah help us and guide us to be the best parents for our children. Ameen.
