Asst Business Development Manager Job Purpose and Summary: Be responsible for Myanmar business development in consumer products testing including but not limited to Softline, Hardline, Toys, Food, E&E, Automotive, implement the strategy of company business development, Communicate with Marketing and BD team to achieve the business objectives and sales targets as according to the company directions. First instance, knowledge of the apparel/fabric/trim mills in the country are critical for the initial development of the SL business Job Responsibility & Accountability (Key roles, functions & accountabilities) • To understand fully of BV businesses in size, clients, competitors, organization, access channels • Locates and proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Propose 3 years business plan & a pragmatic yearly actions plan. • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners needs and goals. • Collect marketing information (competitive intelligence) with all kinds of methods and implement commercial strategy and target lists with each SEA BD/KAM. • Internal communicate with different departments, direct to handle the sales issues and identify root cause of complaints. • Co-ordinate actions to clients and cross-selling with BV Network. • Write weekly and monthly report to the Regional Chief Executive and organize weekly and monthly meeting with BD & the labs supporting Myanmar business in the short term (1 year) and later with the lab at locale. • Disseminate sales competences to local BV staff in order to speed up the development • To set up all necessary procedures for a good & safe running of the business • To be responsible of the achievement of the Myanmar budgeted sales. • To organize seminars, conferences, participation to important exhibitions • Develop and manage marketing/sales campaign with marketing executives/ KAM; develop new marketing and vendors; Establish close relationship with key vendors • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. • Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position) • Good selling and presentation skills as well as communication and team leadership; have the ability to construct a sales team, make sales plan and implement; Proficiency in office software and English. Adaptable to different cultures. • Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals • Possess good knowledge of sales,team building and motivation, testing criterias,the industry as well as the companys product & service. Clearly understand the companys branding & marketing mix. • Entreprenial and creative; Energetic and willing to work overtime. Proactive and flexible; willingness to travel extensively; Keen for new experience, responsibility & accountability.
