Thursday March 20th, 2014 Today is the astrological New Year with the arrival of the Sun into the sign of Aries, today both day and night are the same length giving way to the spring equinox in the Northern Hemisphere; today is also the International Astrology day. We are given the opportunity to move our energies into a new direction and to accept the call to bloom and grow as part of the new season. In the early morning we might have expansive dreams with excellent ideas for growth and inspiration, it could be a good idea to journal and write down our ideas. Our inner world has the opportunity to expand in some way during this energy, and we might find some healing applications for it as a closing up of the astrological year. The Sun will ingress into the sign of Aries at 12:57pm shifting our gears from the watery deep realms of Pisces into the fiery pioneering world of Aries. The day might feel a little confusing as the energy shifts and changes, we could benefit form taking the time to reflect on the year we leave behind and to ponder where our energy will focus for our goals this beginning year. Starting today, the next four weeks will have a lot of cardinal energy promoting new beginnings and change, also taking part in the cardinal Grand Cross configuration in the end of the month. Our gemstone suggestions are Botswana Agate, a good gemstone to sleep with and hold on to inspiring dreams or thoughts. For the evening we could work with Fluorite so we can reassess our past and the direction we want to go in the future.
