Asus Zenfone 5 Hands On Review: Finally a smartphone beast which dethroned Moto G. Build Quality : Excellent, Premium plastic body with matte finish ensures that the phone looks premium. The phone is pretty large, although its a 5 screen, the phone appears much larger, thanks to its wide bezels which gives it more of a premium look. The back cover is slightly curvy, thereby providing Excellent grip..The persons with pretty large hands could use the phone single handedly. Rating: 9/10 for build quality. Display: 720p HD Vibrant Display ..Colour Reproduction is superb. Asus has provided one app called Splendid which will automatically adjust the display colour reproduction depending on the video..This is very Good.. Display is protect by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is the most latest one in the market, thus making the display scratch resistant and dirt resistant. Rating: 9/10 for display.. Processor: Intel Atom 1.6 Ghz Dual Core processor with hyperthreading technology. I checked the phone for any lag with ten apps running in the background, but thanks to the hyperthreading technology, lag was not even noticed once.. This Processor is cool, but may tend to overheat the phone, while playing game continously, but this is natural considering the fact that Intel Processor is used. 2 Gb Ram ensures that the phone perfomance smoothly without any lags.. Thumbs up! Asus! Power VR GPU ensures that almost every high games can be played on this device, be it dead trigger, asphalt and so on..initial loading time is slow but once loaded, game performance is very good on this device. Rating: 9.75/10.00 for the performance. Camera: 8 Mp secondary camera with Sony BSI sensor & Asus patented PixelMaster technology which is capable of taking HD images even in the low light conditions with utmost clarity..Primary camera is 2 Mp...Camera software used in the phone is excellent with various modes such as beautification, HDR Mode, Animation mode where you can convert a photo to animation...The camera is loaded with Auto Focus & Face detection...The clarity of this 8 Megapixel camera is equivalent to the 16 Mp camera in Karbon Titanium Phone... Rating: 9.00 for the camera. Thumbs Up! Touch Sensitivity: Superb buttery touch with a quick response time. Zen UI is superb, appears more attractive than the touch wiz interface used in Samsung.... rating: 9.50/10.. Battery: Intel Phones are always known for giving poor battery life, but Asus has created an exception to this with the battery lasting atleast one day on full charge (Moderate Usage - 1hr of video and little bit of games), cant expect any more battery life owing to its vast specifications. Battery used here is non removable 2110 mAh battery, could have been little higher say 3500 mAh... When compared to other phones , battery is a concern here.. Rating: 7.00/10.00... Call Quality : Excellent....Dual Sim 3G ... Rating: 9/10.... Sound: loudspeaker sound is lesser, but headphones are Rocking! Another drawback is that the back & home button is nor sandiched to the display, it is provided separately and it is not backlit, making it difficult to use in the dark.... I brought 16 gb internal memory Version (12.20 Gb user available) (Rs.12,999/- in flipkart) expandable upto 64 Gb. 8 Gb internal memory version is better with Rs 3K lesser (Rs 9999/-) expandable upto 64 Gb. Verdict: 9/10....Smart phone beast with a weak battery_ Value for money,..
