At 2:55 p.m. 2 years ago I got to hold our son for the first time. It was one of the hardest days in my life. Knowing that I was going to be having a child and knowing that there would be no cry after labor. I remember praying to God that the doctors were wrong and I would hear a cry. Holding Williams little body and seeing how handsome he was is a picture I will never forget. Little did I know then that going through labor and holding him was just a glimps of the pain and heart break that I would encounter that week. It was so comforting holding him and seeing our child in a way that some of the pain got blocked that day. I was so strong all day today knowing what today was and only teared up twice..... at least until I got home from work. Miss that little boy so much. Mommy loves you William Loyd McElwain Otto! Gone but never forgotten.
