At 23 weeks, hubby and I went in for one of my regular check-ups and my doctor broke news that made us awfully sad. Our unborn son had a single umbilical artery which can result in either being too small when hes born or he may never take his first breath outside my womb. I went home in tears and cried myself to sleep that night. I was so stuck on the thought that we could actually lose our child. So I sought The Almighty because I know anything is possible through him. I also came to realize that he has never forsaken me once, and so I believed that he wasnt going to forsake me then. Last year, on this very day, he answered my prayers with life:) Weighing in at 6 lbs 11 ozs, my heart just melted at the first glance of my sons face. He may have been too small then, and today, but Im proud to say that my little mans a fighter. Daddy and I are forever grateful to have been blessed with you son. May today be the first of many more happy birthdays to come. And may you always look to the Lord in all that you do in life. We love you baby♥
