At 2nd Homecoming for Michael English Nov 21, 2014 in Wallace, NC...we enjoyed The Anchormen Quartet. Their bass player is the best Ive heard in many years, if not ever, in Gospel Music. (Had I danced around like I wanted to at the bass players music, Id have been thrown out of the auditorium! ). Ive always enjoyed Gospel Quartet singing & playing. Its in my DNA from the Branton Quartet days. (How I wish there were camcorders, videos with audio from their days traveling and performing. Id love to have that.). The program was scheduled to begin at 7 pm....it was unfortunate some entered late from the side front. It was distracting to the group and audience. I liked seeing the men dressed professionally when performing before an audience...something about a man dressed in a suit or uniform.....is appealing to a womans eyes. @theanchormen
