At 4:00 am today (October 7, 2013) , the eye of Typhoon "RAMIL" was located based on all available data at 910 km Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (24.4°N 131.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 28 kph. Palawan, Western Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northwest to Southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the west to southwest will prevail over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
