At 4:00 p.m. today, (August 26, 2013) Tropical Storm "NANDO" was estimated based on all available data at 270 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.8 °N, 125.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph. The provinces of Isabela, Apayao and Cagayan including Batanes, Babuyan and Calayan group of islands will have rains with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas. Bicol Region, MIMAROPA and the province of Aurora will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to west will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and eAstern Mindanao. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
