At 4:00 this morning I found the time to watch the rest of the streaming of last nights school board meeting. This part included the public comment section and the approval of the boards evaluation of Dr. Looney. As one of the twelve board members who conducted the superintendent search and hired Dr. Looney, I feel an obligation to our parents to help fend off his attackers. Thank you to the board for this evaluation. The vote to approve was 9 for, 1 against, 1 abstaining, and 1 absent. I think the board is making great progress to become less political and more dedicated to the mission of educating children. Specifically, to the leadership of Robert Hullett and Rick Wimberly for your vision during some troubled times. Thank you to the parents who have rallied to support the district and our children.
