At 8 i said I wanted a house in the country, 2 dogs and a horse, no children. That was 39 years ago-and yes I have had people tell me my biological clock will tick, look at me crazy with how can you not want babies look-it is definitely easier today to be a woman who doesnt want kids, its a personal choice and given the number of people on this planet I happen to think its a good one (for me and anyone else who does not feel the burning desire to be a mother). I like this author, have my kids vicariously through others, I love kids but not as much as I love handing them back and living life on my terms. Choice, it is an individual thing-I support your choice, dont let others beat you down on this one, woman are not made just to bear children, for those of us that choose not to. we are not rejects or weird, just exercising our right of choice. How about you, did you choose not to have kids? Do people judge you or support your decision?
