At 82, Lieut. Uhura is STILL beautiful!!! As a very young boy, I would watch Star Trek with hopes of catching a glimpse of Lieut. Uhura, the character played by Ms. Nichelle Nichols who broke racial barriers in television. According to Ms. Magazine, Ms. Nichols once thought of quitting the Star Trek series but thankfully another of Ms. Nichols big fans got involved. More specifically, Ms. Nichols received wise counsel from Martin Luther King, Jr., who encouraged her to continue this first nonstereotypical role of honor, dignity and intelligence. Thank you, Dr. King! Man, shes beautiful! I guess my secret is out yall; to the extent I am a big Star Trek fan, it had absolutely nothing to do with William Shatner ...
