At AAT Infrared, Inc. is a Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin leader in new and replacement asphalt and blacktop driveway paving and installation services. We went to great lengths to bring you this What To Expect video series so that you, the home and business owner, can have peace of mind and fore-knowledge of the process by which we install a new or replacement asphalt and blacktop driveway - from start to finish. You see, weve been in the asphalt and concrete business since 1999 and with THAT experience came our understanding that YOU....our customers - past, present and future - have concerns and questions about What To Expect When Having a New or Replacement Asphalt or Blacktop Driveway Installed. In this What To Expect video - which again is only ONE in an entire series of videos that we are producing for you - we are going to take you on a quick, step by step guided tour of the asphalt and blacktop driveway paving process, so that YOU feel more comfortable with the process - so that YOU know WHAT TO EXPECT when having a new asphalt driveway installed and lastly, we do this so that YOU are aware that we take YOUR questions and concerns SERIOUSLY. Installing a new asphalt driveway is a two step process. The job of paving an asphalt driveway starts with us making the required call to JULIE for the purpose of having the underground utilities marked. We schedule the step to correlate with the schedule that we have outlined to you in the agreement for services. And NOW begins the work of starting to pave your new asphalt driveway. When our crew shows up at the work site to begin your job, were going to do a visual inspection for any work hazards that may exist or occur and promptly address those issues. Then well begin the process of breaking up the old existing driveway and hauling away and and all debris to an authorized dumping facility. AAT Infrared, Inc is a Green, Earth Friendly company....we recycle all of the debris materials taken from all of our job sites The next thing were going to visually inspect the sub-base for any and all integrity issues that may exist - and we correct those issues so that they do not jeopardize the longevity or quality of the new driveway. This is a VERY IMPORTANT step that is, unfortunately, overlooked by many asphalt paving companies these days. At that point, we are going to be adding base stone, as needed. Then, we will proceed to adjust and set the grade for proper drainage during this step. Well then compact the base with a vibratory base roller. Alright Folks, were nearly done with phase one, so NOW we are going to allow the base to settle naturally for about 1 to 2 weeks. Before we leave the job, however, were going to clean up the site, nice and neat. Oh, and BY THE WAY, while waiting for the next phase of the project to begin, you can feel free to use the driveway! This part of the project only takes us about 2 - 3 hours to complete. The average driveway can be paved in approximately 2-3 hours and the inconvenience is minimal. At AAT Infrared Infrared of Rockford Illinois, we take pride in providing YOU, our valued customer, with an UNBEATABLE level of service and commitment to quality and to your complete satisfaction.
