At Blunt Force, you’ll typically see one workout listed on the board, which means men and women grind out bootcamps together. Same pull-up bar, same push-ups (off the knees!), same rope-climb length. For military bootcamps, you will usually find the same equal treatment, just far fewer women. Recently, the New York Times profiled the women at West Point. You may recognize some of the women profiled from the Efaw family. Three daughters, Alexandra, Anastasia and Arianna, are all following in their father and mother’s footsteps by attending the prestigious US Military Academy at West Point. Blunt Force Training has had the privilege of meeting and training mom Amy Blanchard Efaw, and all three daughters. We thank them for their service and look forward to seeing them again on winter break! nytimes/interactive/2014/09/04/magazine/women-of-west-point.html?_r=0
