At CCBS we use a balanced approach in our training methods. We believe that dogs, like people, need to not only be rewarded for their good behaviour, but also provided with corrections to establish boundaries and eliminate unwanted behaviour. Corrections do not equal hitting or abuse and are given only as strongly as the situation calls for. We believe this combination of reward and correction provides the right balance that our dogs naturally need which other training styles neglect to address.
