At CCF, things are always busy. During the past 10 days, CCF has hosted 23 educators from Miami University in cooperation with the Cincinnati Zoo. For the 11th year, Earth Expeditions brought teachers to Namibia from around the US. Many are a part of a Masters degree program within Miami University. The educators were guided through training in learner centered education by Dan Marsh, the Educational Director for Cincinnati Zoo. Again this year, the group participated in our annual 12 hour waterhole count within the Waterberg Conservancy. In addition, they learned about all aspects of CCFs programs and also took a hike to the base of the Waterberg Plateau. Weve enjoyed their time here and were sad to see them leave, but know they will all help educate the world about wildlife conservation.
