At NORWICH Animal Control, KINKO is a male purebred, 2 year old, black and brown Rottweiller. He arrived when his owner tied him to a concrete ledge on a short leash during a heat wave with temperatures around 100 degrees Farenheit. He was in the sun with no access to shade for several hours until a police officer rescued him. His owner was arrested for Cruelty To Animals at that time. The officer was informed that the owner had adopted Kinko one week ago and during that week he beat Kinko and forced him to walk over broken glass. Kinko’s right rear paw pads were injured by the sharp glass. Kinko has healed physically now but mentally he still will need a lot of TLC to get over this experience.
