At Sundays debate, Frank Guinta said he wants to go back to paying subsidies to banks to be the middle men for federal school loans. I helped pass the bill to take the middleman out and use the savings to help students. AP reported on 3/24/10 that, The bill would see $61 billion in savings over 10 years from the switch to direct government lending.
