At Territory Wildllife Park in late 2013 during our Diploma CLM biological survey we looked for the epiphytic orchid, Dendrobium.sp in association with the cycad, Cycas.armstrongiil. Instead we found the orchids growing only on two tree species - Lophostemon grandiflorus and Erythrophleum chlorostachyum above a height of 1.5m. See 3 photos below from the right. As you can see it was at the last light of the day! And I loved the tree roots fissured texture so much here are 2 photos on the bottom left.
