At The Grace Place Church we are collecting items to send to soldiers if you can donate shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, cough drops, soap and other toiletries.Travel size are the best. If you have any donations you can drop them off in the "Grace Kit" container at church or the church office. We just sent a box to Afghanistan today!!! Mark your calendars for October 14, it is Columbus Day but the kids still have school! We will be baking cookies for soldiers at the church. We will mail the cookies out on Tuesday. If you cannot meet us to bake at the church but want to donate cookies please drop them off at the church office on October 15. The packages going to Afghanistan are taking about 14 days. So we will have to package the cookies in plastic containers. Thank YOU for supporting our troops!
