At a block party benefiting a local rescue organization, while we were munching on our Vietnamese pork tacos and sipping wine, a number of miracles occurred. Over a dozen people correctly identified our boy (yes, boy!) as some kind of setter, mostly not Irish but...? while a handful even got English! The words spaniel and mix were not spoken. AND he was on his best breed ambassador behavior, listening perfectly and not trying to sneak one persons food or drinks while charming them!
