At a meeting held at Acas on the 4th November 2014, between Unite and St Mungo’s Broadway, the following was agreed: 1. St. Mungos’ Broadway (SMB) agrees to put new starters since July 2014 on the NJC rates, and no lesser terms and conditions than St Mungo’s, as of the 1st November 2014. 2. SMB seeks to agree to upwardly harmonise all staff to NJC rates, and no lesser terms and conditions than St Mungo’s, by April 1st 2015. SMB will provide information, and work with Unite and their financial advisor to come up with solutions to the challenging financial environment with a view to reaching agreement on pay to be implemented by April 1st 2015. If no agreement is reached SMB and Unite commit to follow the agreed process in the recognition agreement. 3. SMB and Unite commit to follow the existing recognition agreement and all collective agreements made with Unite prior to the merger e.g. Job evaluation. All entry level roles to be covered by the relevant collective agreement made in 2013. 4. SMB and Unite commit to consult over the current HR policies and procedures with a view to reaching agreement by April 1st 2015.
