At about 2:33 am, I was out in my backyard. I took Bullet out before I was headed off to sleep. I was looking at Mars, as Bullet was being a dog and doing what dogs do in backyards. When I saw a extremely bright meteor that was about as twice as bright as Mars its self. It was traveling from North toward the Southeast and lasted about two to three seconds as it burnt up. I was speaking with a friend today about the increasing amount of meteor sightings over the last few months and the ever increasing amounts over the last few weeks. I have post a story the other day, about a meteor that buzzed by us only 11000 km from Earth. I just thought I would post my observations to see if anyone else had seen this particular meteor tonight. Keep your eyes skyward, because you never know what you might see.
