At about 4 am, I was already awake when the big aftershock happened. I woke up my husband and suddenly, Zack rushed to us. He must have noticed it though he was still asleep. Frantic, I carried Bibo in my arms right away. Continously, there were about four aftershocks after that. As it is our Thanksgiving day today, I have to load our emergency bags right away to the car but I dont know if we can still attend the Thanksgiving Mass for today. My husband has to rush to his office and check their employees also scared. For now, we really have to be prepared. Have your kids beside you all the time. We do not only pray when there is an aftershock or whatever terrifying thing we experience. Let us all call on all the saints, Angels, and the Holy Mother for their intercessions.When the earthquake happened, it was the feast of St. Teresa of Avila who gave us with this message: LET NOTHING DISTURB YOU. LET NOTHING FRIGHTEN YOU.ALL THINGS ARE PASSING AWAY... But, we should never be complacent. Let us all be prepared in whatever way we can.. May God protect us all..
