At abput 8;45 this morning Rye was carried home on angel wings, and more than just 1 pair, our daughter and his Mom. He heard me last night when I asked him to please hold on until our girls had had their Homecoming celebration, and I kissed him, told him I loved him, and asked him to hug and kiss our baby girl and his Mom for me when he got to his new home. We are meeting with the funeral home tomorrow and will know more about arrangements for a brief memorial service to celebrate his life. Ill post arrangements when they are made. Rye was the ultimate definition of a man, husband, and father. He was our hero, and we will honor him in everything we do from this day forward. God bless you all.
