At any given time of our lives, we often get close encounters with physically-challenged people, and if were lucky, we do get to meet even the mentally-challenged ones. But not often do we get to meet both, all the more a child afflicted with cerebral palsy. We have so much to thank for and not being afflicted with this ailment is most definitely one of them. As blue-blooded Rotarians, we always say how much we ever put into practice Rotarys motto: Service-Above-Self, but how much heart and effort have we really put into it, if one might ask? This years Rotary Theme (Light Up the World), truly goes hand in hand with our motto. Sadly, we couldnt seriously tell if the beneficiary of this baby stroller really enjoys our loving gift, but that is not important right now. What is important is the relatives thanking you, catching their breathe as they hold their tears of joy. Now that, to anyone, is a sight to see.
