At approximately 1:40pm, we were advised a person had been struck by a train south of Runcorn station. Police, emergency services and Queensland Rail response units are on site. We are working with police to investigate the incident and we are unable to speculate on the circumstances. As a result of the incident, buses are replacing trains between Altandi and Kuraby stations. Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected.
